With summer here, what could be better than cooking steaks out in the back yard? I recently interviewed grilling expert, recipe developer, & food blogger Christie Vanover of Girls Can Grill on my podcast, The Dish with Nancy Newcomer.  We discussed her ideas on the best way to approach your  grilling. From technique to rubs and sauces, Christie shares tips and secrets along with her mouth-watering recipe for grilled rib-eye steak. YUM! Girls Can Grill Grilled Rib-Eye Steaks
Serves 2-4


2 rib-eye steaks

soy sauce

Worcestershire sauce

steak seasoning or Zestuous Rib-eye Rub

6 tablespoons butter, melted

1 clove minced garlic

1 tsp. fresh thyme


Drizzle soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce onto the steaks. Sprinkle with steak seasoning or Zestuous Rib-eye Rub. Rub into the meat on both sides. Let rest at room temperature for 20-30 minutes.

In a small bowl, combine the butter, garlic and thyme.

Light the grill to high. Grill for about 7 minutes. Flip. Spoon the butter mixture onto the steaks. Grill for another 5-7 minutes,  until the fat is caramelized.
