Here’s a fun and festive non-alcoholic drink for the holidays from fellow food bloggers White on Rice Couple. If you want to skip the sugar entirely I’ve offered a couple of suggestions for you.
Pomegranate Spritzer (1 drink)
- about 1 – 2 Tablespoons of fresh or concentrate pomegranate juice
- 2 tsp sugar
- 6 oz sparkling water or club soda
- Add pomegranate juice, sugar and water. (Add pomegranate seeds if you are so inclined) Pour into glasses filled with ice.
- Add additional sugar, or pomegranate juice to personal taste, sweetness and tartness**Want to skip the sugar? Swap in Stevia, honey, or xylitol. Personally, I think it tastes better to squeeze a little fresh orange juice in it…and, if you can get your hands on some blood oranges, well even better!
