Here’s a fun and festive non-alcoholic drink for the holidays from fellow food bloggers White on Rice Couple. If you want to skip the sugar entirely I’ve offered a couple of suggestions for you.

Pomegranate Spritzer (1 drink)


  • about 1 – 2 Tablespoons of fresh or concentrate pomegranate juice
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 6 oz sparkling water or club soda


    1. Add pomegranate juice, sugar and water. (Add pomegranate seeds if you are so inclined)  Pour into glasses filled with ice.
    2. Add additional sugar, or pomegranate juice to personal taste, sweetness and tartness**Want to skip the sugar? Swap in Stevia, honey, or xylitol. Personally, I think it tastes better to squeeze a little fresh orange juice in it…and, if you can get your hands on some blood oranges, well even better!
