This cocktail was invented quite accidentally over Memorial Day weekend at my sister’s walnut ranch. We were set to make the Cucumber Cilantro Margarita from the in Surf & Sand Resort in Laguna Beach and realized we were missing sweet & sour mix. As they say, necessity is the mother of invention…Outside the kitchen window, a mandarin tree loaded with fruit-need I say more? A drink is born.
